Dr. Jennifer has been excited about chiropractic since her first adjustment at the age of 5. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri where she received a bachelor's degree in Nutritional Biochemistry with Honors and then earned an additional bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Logan University. She graduated cum laude from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri and has been able to work in two different wellness practices getting the opportunity to touch the lives of thousands of families with the healing benefits of chiropractic care.  Last year she moved from Blue Hill, Maine to be able to live closer to her family on the west coast.  She is very excited to join the Portland community. 

Dr. Talbert has extensive training in traditional chiropractic techniques as well as using adjusting instruments including; Thompson Drop Technique, Diversified, Activator Methods International,  Logan Basic Technique and Sacro Occipital Technique (S.O.T.). She also enjoys working with extremities, cranial bones and TMJ  (jaw) problems. 

She uses her nutrition background to provide gentle nutritional counseling using a Health at Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating philosophy.  She helps people of all shapes and sizes to feel comfortable in their bodies free of judgement and body shaming.
