Dr. Ray Capone graduated cum laude from the University of Western States College of Chiropractic in 2011. He feels strongly that treating the whole person requires an appreciation of the complex interplay between body and mind, using strategies that strengthen and support both simultaneously. Dr. Capone has seen chiropractic care relieve pain and restore function so effectively that he is proud to offer it to his patients for a wide spectrum of conditions.
In addition to chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue manipulation, and rehabilitation, Dr. Capone employs nutrition optimization and exercise therapies to successfully treat, prevent, and co-manage a variety of serious diseases and disorders. He prides himself on working cooperatively with other physicians to make sure patients get the complete care they need. He believes that every patient is exceptional and unique in their own way. And his goal is to help every patient achieve and sustain exceptional health.
Dr. Capone is certified to provide medical exams for commercial drivers, in coordination with the Department of Transportation. He is also proud to offer chiropractic services to veterans within the VA health system.
In his free time Dr. Capone enjoys optimizing his time outside. He loves white water kayaking and exploring the natural beauty of rivers. He also enjoys mountain biking, telemark skiing in the winter, and more kayaking. Dr. Capone lives in Portland with his wife, and he is the father of two beautiful daughters.
