Dr. Jennifer Talbert (she/her) joined Portland Chiropractic Group in 2018 and has been dedicated to her patients ever since.  Dr. Jennifer brings not only professional expertise but also personal understanding to every consultation, creating a safe and supportive environment where patients can truly thrive.  Her approach to chiropractic care is personalized and empathetic, focusing on gently reducing pain and promoting an intuitive relationship with one's body and movement.  

Dr. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Biochemistry with honors from the University of Missouri and an additional Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Logan University. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree cum laude from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri in 2010. Over her career, she has had the privilege of working in two additional practices, getting the opportunity to touch the lives of thousands of families with the healing benefits of chiropractic care. 

With extensive training in traditional and instrument-assisted chiropractic techniques, Dr. Talbert specializes in Thompson Drop, Diversified, Activator Methods, Logan Basic, Cranial Sacral Therapy, and Sacro Occipital Technique (S.O.T.). Her expertise extends to extremity adjustments, cranial bones, and TMJ (jaw) issues. She also has a special interest in working with patients on the hypermobility spectrum, those experiencing Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), and people living with disabilities, helping them navigate these conditions with care and precision.

She is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive, non-judgmental environment for patients of all shapes and sizes, guided by the principles of Health at Every Size (HAES). She believes everyone deserves to feel comfortable and supported in their body throughout their health journey.

In her spare time, you can find her playing her ukulele, crocheting while watching Netflix, running her book club, and petting every dog she comes across.
